Event Details The Art Hong Kong Expo has been officially listed as a key event (project) of the "Sailing Overseas" initiative in 2025. On August 11, 2025, the General Offices of six departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Radio and Television, the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, officially issued a document designating The Art Hong Kong Expo as a national-level benchmark cultural event. The Provincial Pavilion invited the cultural and tourism departments of Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai, Ningxia, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Hainan to participate, showcasing the unique culture and resources of each province and city. The consulates and Belt and Road countries also make use of the Art Hong Kong Expo platform to promote the high-quality development of the cultural industry. "Silk Road Harmony: China-Africa Ethnic Carnival" uses digital technologies such as XR, VR, AR holographic projection, and digital imaging to create a brand-new art space and provide a dynamic, multi-sensory interactive cultural and educational experience.
